Oh right, about that chimpanzee intelligence test thing. Scientists in Kyoto, Japan tested chimpanzees' photographic memory (or eidetic memory as they call it) with a test very similar to this game (although not as beautiful). They were astonished to see how well the chimpanzees did; their memory was much better than that of human participants!
