Arctic Expedition is a route-building game situated to the arctic seas, where the permafrost is melting rapidly and various dangers prowl the explorer.
The player character is a researcher studying the changes in the arctic sea ice. To explore the area, the player must build a skiing route to the North Poles using hexagonal route tiles. Various dangers including polar bears, ice cliffs and open water add difficulty to the task.
Hold the Android device in portrait position. In new game view, select game mode and the level of difficulty.
Movement: Drag one of three tiles on the adjacent hex in the front of the player character, rotate the tile to the desired position and double tap. Multiple route hexes can be build using tiles already on the game area. A movement of more than one tile generates extra points. The player wins by arriving the north pole safely. Post your best score in the Facebook and comment the game!
In the explore mode the player must ski the longest possible route in the game area by placing the route tiles wisely on the front of the player character. There's no time limit and the ice does not melt.
In the escape mode the player must also ski the longest possible route in the game area, but the route must be accomplished be before the sea ice melts. The ice starts melting from the southern end of the game area. There's no time limit, but the ice will melt rapidly in accordance with the selected difficulty level.
