Auto-Notruf-Plus enables the technically supported notification of an emergency, accident or breakdown with the car insured with the Rhineland in road traffic and also contains additional services.
Together with the accident report and your smartphone, the Auto-Notruf-Plus app forms the core of an easily retrofitting emergency call system (accident reporting service) for your car. The accident reporting plug is put in the 12-volt socket (cigarette lighter) and connects with your smartphone via Bluetooth.
In the event of an accident, the sensor installed in the accident report sees the impact and sends an emergency call by Auto-Notruf-Plus app. The position of the vehicle is automatically determined by the app. After the emergency report has been made, we will try to immediately establish a speech connection with you via the smartphone connected to the system. Insofar as you are available via the speech connection, we will coordinate the further measures with you. If a speech connection is not possible with you, we will notify the rescue control center.
If you are in an emergency in road traffic or if you suffer a breakdown with your breakdown, you can also manually inform our accident reporting point about the accident report app. We may send the rescue workers off or organize a tow truck.
Note: The continuous use of the GPS function in the background can reduce the battery life. The smartphone can be loaded via the USB connection integrated in the accident report.
