Strain on stops (light)
A variety of decisions must be made when striking loads. One of them is the determination of the load capacity of a stop depending on the type of attack, the number of strands and the inclination of the strands.
The attack is supported by this app as follows:
1. Insert of the weight of the load. Either directly or by entering any formula (calculator). In addition, the weight can be easily converted between KG and T.
2. Selection of the stop.
3. Selection of the type of stop.
4. If necessary (expert mode*) also selection of the temperature range.
The result is the minimally required assessment (diameter of the drew rope, nominal thickness of the chain or color of the lifting tape) of the selected stop, with which a trained attack can safely hit a load with the specified weight.
