DroidMaps 2.0 shows hydro-meteo data collected by your monitoring network.
DroidMaps 2.0 allows consultation and data visualization of your CAE monitoring system directly on your smartphone or tablet Android.
The data acquisition and the states configuration are on CAE DataLife central, from which the app downloads the content needed and shows them to you in many ways.
On startup you have an overview of the entire network, distributed throughout the territory using the cartographic base maps of Google, to get an overall picture of the situation through the use of colored marker associated to the states of the stations.
On each monitoring point, with a simple tap, there are several actions, such as continuing to the detail of all the elements. In this case, the app shows a table in which you can analyze value, growth and status of each registered item. From these, with another tap on the element, it draws the graph of the data acquired in the central, showing up to 7 days and possibly comparing them with other elements of the same or other stations. You can zoom the graph and show individual values recorded. To better appreciate the events of rain, the graph is also available in histogram form with the aggregation chosen by the user.
A very useful feature is to open Street View over the installation point of the station (the Google Street View app must be installed on the device) and set it as the destination point on the navigator.
You can share any screen with the main messaging systems or social sharing.
Requirements:
The device must have Android OS 4.0.3 or later.
The app generates data traffic and requires an Internet connection. The speed / reliability of the Internet connection of the device is the basis of a proper functioning of the app DroidMaps 2.0. The eventual use of the 3G connection requires the presence of a SIM with data traffic enabled. Due to the massive amount of data downloaded, you better choose a flat profile.
To download the data you need credentials to access the DataLife central. When you first install you get sample data provided by CAE.
