- Immediate notification on new hits in your personal, saved searches (someone who sells ticket to Bruce Springsteen? Ping! You are notified)
- Possibility of marking things you have found as favorites so that you more easily find them again for these later
- See ads in maps and search for things near you
Accesses we need:
- Position - to view ads in maps, and provide the user the opportunity to sort ads based on position
- Use accounts on device - required for login via Google+/Facebook and Push messages
- Full network access - necessary to be able to view ads
- USB Storage - Quick Storage of Data for Better Performance
- Prevent the phone from sleeping - this is required to support push notifications for searches where you want to be notified of new ads. The app will then be active until the push message is processed. This normally takes a few milliseconds and does not cost extra battery.
- Read phone status - used for tracking for data for insight work, such as being able to say something about how many people use the apps, what version of the app they are on, what type of phones are popular so we can focus on these, detect errors and the like.
