How to calculate the risk of recurrence in patients after resection of the primary gastrointestinal subcontractive cancer (GIST)?
Calculations arise by selecting buttons in three groups:
1. Mitotic number - (HPF - Ang: High Power Field - field in high enlargement in the microscope x 400)
2. tumor size - centimeters
3. tumor location (stomach, duodenum, black and winding intestine, rectum)
The result is administered as a percentage of relapses after surgical treatment under prognostic groups.
