Lingo with Friends is an addictive free word game. Lingo is combined well known Bingo and word guessing game. Guess the word and become the gameshow master!
Lingo with Friends has two game modes:
- single game.
- multiplayer (generally is a two player mode)
The differences between game modes are described below.
How to play?
Your task is to guess the word generated by computer.
Each letter of the entered word is highlighted on board on a specific color (as in well known Lingo game).
Colors on board:
Green, the letter is in the correct position.
Orange, the letter is in the word, but not in correct position.
Blue, the letter does not occur in the word. Doesn't exists in guessed word.
Scoring:
Lingo with Friends uses the following scoring scheme:
- Word guessed on the first attempt: you earn 5 points
- Word guessed at the second attempt: you get 4 points
- Word guessed at the third attempt: you get 3 points
- Word guessed at the four attempt: you get 2 points and finally
- Word guessed at the five attempt - you get 1 point
Bonuses - only in Single game mode:
- Every 5 correctly guessed words - you get an extra life
- During the game you can use the 3 hint letters
Objectives:
The objectives of the game are different depending on the game mode:
Single Mode: You should guess as many words as you can. The best score is stored on global Leaderboard.
Two player mode: Match against your friend. Your task is to win a match. match duration: 5 words to guess. Players guessing one row by turn.
