The App Truck Departure Control available here is a service of TIS GmbH and free of charge. The TIS GmbH would like to support the truck driver in everyday life.

The departure control is not only a legal obligation for a truck driver, but also a good condition for a stress-free and puncture-free ride. TIS makes the departure control very easy - with the free app truck departure control!
The app truck departure control helps truck drivers in carrying out the departure check. For each checkpoint, you can display explanations with one click. The explanations are based on the DGUV principle 314-002, which the Berufsgenossenschaft Verkehrswirtschaft Post-Logistik Telekommunikation (BG Verkehr) has kindly provided for this app.
For each check a PDF document with the results of the control and the driver's signature is created. The PDF document is automatically sent to preset email addresses for archiving. With the help of the PDF documents, you can prove the performed inspection at any time afterwards.

The first time you launch the app, you will be guided through the necessary input screens:
You must once confirm the privacy policy and allow access to phone, GPS and camera, so that the app can be used meaningfully.
Next, you will be prompted to enter license plates for trucks and trailers / semitrailers, if any. These flags are automatically stored in the settings.
You will then be asked to provide at least one contact with your name and email address. This contact is automatically saved in the settings. He gets the inspection reports sent by email. Please do not be surprised - the email is not visible in the app - this happens automatically in the background.
Important instructions:
You are independent and therefore responsible for your truck? Then enter your own email address so that you always have access to the test reports.
Are you a hired driver? Then enter the email address of the fleet manager. Useful and useful is to deposit your own email address as well. So you get the logs also sent and can show you at checks. For this it is necessary that you can retrieve your emails with your smartphone. The test reports are NOT available in the app!
The departure check itself is very simple:
Your vehicle registration number is already given. You go through the checklist and identify any defects found. If you want, take a picture. Finally, decide whether your vehicle is ready to drive or not and sign on the display - Done! If your vehicle is ready to drive, you can start driving.
The defects found and your photos are compiled in a test report and sent by email. This happens in the background while you're on the road. As simple as that!
