The municipality of Montemayor
Montemayor is a Spanish municipality in the province of Córdoba, Andalusia. Located in the heart of the Cordovan countryside. Its location on the highest mountain in the area gives this town its own name, as well as the nickname of Mirador de la Campiña. It has a viewpoint with excellent views located at the foot of its castle. In the year 2020 it had 3856 inhabitants. Its surface extension is 57.98 km² and it has a density of 67.68 inhabitants/km². Its geographic coordinates are 37º39'N, 4º42'W. It is located at an altitude of 413 meters and 30 kilometers from the provincial capital, Córdoba. Its economy is based on the primary sector, its main productions being cereal, wine and oil.

Augmented Reality: through Augmented Reality the visit to Montemayor will become something very entertaining, where you will be able to discover a recreation of what the Dos Hermanas castle was like, search in 3D for the Iberian wheel that was found in the municipality, a unique find dated to the year IV B.C. the filter augmented with old photographs and see all the Points of Interest on a virtual map in 3 dimensions (3D).

You have access to a three-dimensional (3D) map where a virtual character will be your avatar and will accompany you through the streets and countryside of Montemayor, showing the tourist resources that appear on your way and obtaining multimedia information when you click on them
Discover what the Castle of Two Sisters was like, located a few kilometers east of the urban center of Montemayor. When you get to that point, the option to use Augmented Reality will appear at the top, press and it will show you a virtual model of the castle through your mobile, on which you can walk around it to see each of its sides and buildings.
The Iberian wheel has been one of the most important archaeological finds on the Iberian Peninsula, go to the Vila Museum, right in the center and at the point of the siege of Vila and the Roman civil wars, north of the town, and look for a reproduction of the ibera wheel in 3D that you will have to “catch” by touching it with your finger
Montemayor has a past that you can recognize in its streets using the increased filter, go to the Ermita de la Vera Cruz and, focusing the mobile with the increased filter, you will see what it was like in the past
