Your gluten-free trip in Italy: hotels, restaurants and shops for coeliacs.
The Italian Coeliac Association launches for the EXPO 2015 Exhibition a “special edition” of its App “AIC Mobile” called MyGlutenFreeEXPO with a directory of gluten-free restaurants, shops and hotels all over Italy to help you to plan a perfect gluten-free trip in Italy.
MyGlutenFreeEXPO is free of charge and also in English. It contains all Italian venues joining the Eating Out program of the AIC. All venues are trained and monitored (at least once a year) by the Italian Coeliac Association in order to guarantee gluten-free meals. By now, there are more than 3.800 venues all over Italy joining our Gluten-free Eating Out program and this number is always increasing. Here you can find: restaurants, pizzerias, spaghetterias, bars, cafeterias, snack bars, sandwich shops, pubs, piadinerias, creperies, wine shops, hotels, Bed&Breakfats, inns and holiday flats, but also bakeries, pastry shops, pasta shops, take-away restaurants and take-away pizzerias.
For every venue, you can find the address and the gluten-free services guaranteed. You can find also the name of the staff person responsible for the gluten-free food in the venue. We also signal days or periods in which the venue is closed. For same area, as the regions near the EXPO, you can find also other optional information, as the gluten-free menu and special gluten-free dishes.
MyGlutenFreeEXPO contains also shops, grocery stores and pharmacies where you can purchase gluten-free foods.
