Scandinavian Wind gives you 24 hour wind forcasts from DMI (www.dmi.dk/hav) presented in a convenient way for your mobile or tablet, including a homescreen widget. Coverage area includes Denmark, Sweden up past Stockholm, southern Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and the east cost of the UK (i.e. the North Sea, Kategat, Skagerak and the Baltic Sea). The app will notify you when wind forecasts for your favourite spots show enough wind.
Scandinavian Wind helps you to keep track of when it is time to be on the water, or perhaps out of the water, depending on your preference. It is a great help to windsurfers, kitesurfers, recreational sailers as well as to professionals who depend on weather knowledge for their work at sea.
