The Story
You're an ace space fighter pilot from "The Earth Galactic Fighter Core".
For some reason the hyper-drive on your fighter seems to have malfunctioned sending you to an uncharted planet located on the fringes of the known-universe. Intriguingly although barren this planet seems inhabited.
Have you stumbled on the last survivors of a once powerful alien civilisation. Fokelaw and ancient manuscripts talk of an advanced inter-galactic civilisation who may even be our ancestors. They supposedly existed before the earth was inhabited, were highly intelligent, technically advanced and in appearance, looked not too dissimilar to humans. If these stories are to be believed they also recall of a pandemic disease which wiped out one of the sexes of their species bringing an abrupt and tragic end to their civilisation.
With their advanced scientific knowledge have they been able to clone themselves or replace their worn out organs with robotic replacements for hundreds of generations. If this is the case, then somehow I don't think they will want you to leave in a hurry. If they catch you, you will spend the rest of your life in a laboratory.
You need to wait a while for the gravity-wave generator to recharge your spaceships hyper-drive battery bank. Set you gun to stun and stay alert, and protect the shield on your fighter as all costs.
