CTLSO MINERVA CERVICAL SYSTEM: is a fully adjustable cervical thoracic lumbar sacral orthosis. The mandible and occipital components are mounted separately on their respective components and are height adjustable. Each comes with a removable, washable liner. Each panel of the TLSO has a 6061 T4 Aluminum attachment bar that is tapped out in a 1/4" x 20 thread that is vacuumed formed into the plastic. This insures the strongest bond and virtually eliminates any risk of failure. Vel-stretch straps are used to secure the mandible to the occipital component and also used for the forehead strap to effectively "lock down" the system and prevent migration.
SOFT TLSO OR LSO EXTERIOR FRAME: Orthosis is extremely effective for geriatric patients who cannot tolerate the traditional rigid orthopedic appliance and is a viable alternative for patients who exhibit a prominent bone structure. A LDPE or MDPE frame sits on top of two layers of foam. The frame is removable so that the practitioner can easily cut windows or modify the frame without cutting into the foam laminate. The inner layer is a 4E Soft Volara type and the outer is a 12A Firm Volara. Window can be cut out of the frame for relief areas or to simply reduce the total weight of the orthosis. A one to two inch foam border is left around the plastic frame for easy trimming and to provide edge relief.

TULSA OR LSO 70-30 SMOOTH OVERLAP: Two piece system with a posterior panel that extends 4 to 5 inches past the lateral midline and contacts approximately 70% of the patient. The anterior panel provides the remaining 30% patient contact and provides maximum adjustability to accommodate patient weight gain or loss.
ANTERIOR OVERLAP RIGID TLSO OR LSO: Unilateral design is lightweight and provides the maximum level of patient comfort. Plastic overlaps on the anterior without the use of a tongue. Provides 4 to 5 inches of total overlap making the design easily adjustable for weight gain or loss. The total contact design provides maximum immobilization and control of the thoracic or lumbar spine. The TLSO or LSO version applies firm couterforces to restrict motion by the patient in all planes. The easiest to donn and doff without assistance. Anterior straps with chaffe tabs are the easiest to find and cinch
LATERAL SMOOTH OVERLAP : Our most popular Rigid Spinal design where the anterior section slides over the posterior section at the lateral midline which allows for a total overlap of 4 - 6 inches. The total contact design provides maximum immobilization and control of the thoracic or lumbar spine. The TLSO or LSO version applies firm couterforces to restrict motion by the patient in all planes and is the superior orthosis of choice for corpulent or pendulous patients.
