You are a tourist on your way to a luxury hotel on a popular island when you fall asleep on the plane. When you wake up, it is to the panicked screams of the passengers as the airplane shakes with extreme turbulence. Looking out the window, you are witness to an ethereal force pulling the plane downward. Calculating your location, you realize your plane is flying over the Bermuda Triangle. With a mighty tug, the plane begins a downward spiral and you are thrown back and knocked unconscious. When you awaken, you are on foreign territory. The other passengers of the plane are nowhere to be seen. Without warning, men appear from the mist and haul you away. In a detainment cell, you are visited by a military officer who informs you that you've just passed through a portal to the future, where a third world war is being fought. He tells you to pick a side, then hands you a gun. You are the next recruitment.
