TonkOut

TonkOut is a matching card game where players make spreads with 3 or more cards.

TonkOut is an old fashion game that you can play with between 2 and 4 players with a standard 52 deck of cards. TonkOut is a matching card game, to which players make spreads with 3 or more cards. The game is fast-paced and the object is to get 2 separate spreads in a single game.

Two spreads in a game by players is a TonkOut and pays doubles from all other players in the game. Spreads come in 2 different ways, set or run. A player can spread in sets of three (3) with same number card or spread in a run of (3) three of the same suit. Example: a set of sevens is seven of clubs, seven of spades and seven of diamonds. And a player can also spread in a run, which is 3 cards run in the same suit, Example: the 3 of hearts, the 4 of hearts and the 5 of hearts. All cards are worth their face value except the picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10 points and aces are worth 1 point.

The game called TonkOut has a variety of side betting, hence the slogan: “More ways to Bet and More ways to Win”. Players can bet on “High Card”, “Color Pair”, “One-Eye Jacks”, “Suicide King”, and many more side bets of the deal. Players can also win the game with AUTOMATIC wins off the deal, 50 points pays doubles and 49 points pay singles off the deal.

Players can also win the game by “Dropping” or “Going for low” if they think they have the lowest hand in a play at the table. But the game of TonkOut has “CATCH RULES”: If a player “DROPS” or GOES FOR LOW and another player has equal or lower count, the player that gets caught has to pay “DOUBLE THE POT”! YES, THAT PLAYER RECEIVES A “CATCH” AND GETS DOUBLE THE POT ANTE FROM THE PLAYER THAT DROPPED.
