Whether you require a corporate payment card to settle a hotel stay or a last-minute flight while you’re on the move, WebPay Mobile allows you to generate a Virtual Card Number (VCN) to pay for bookings across the full spectrum of corporate travel, from hotel to air and rail to car hire. The app also allows you to generate VCNs for generic B2B purchases.
VCNs are processed by merchants within the existing acquiring networks of Visa, MasterCard and American Express in exactly the same way as any Card Not Present (CNP) transaction and are in widespread use across all methods of business travel.
Spend parameters applicable to VCNs include credit limits, payment validity dates and merchant category restrictions to ensure compliance with corporate spend policies.
In addition to these controls, the app features a robust approval process that requires authorisation from a line manager if you wish to make a purchase outside spend policy, providing clear accountability. WebPay Mobile pushes you a notification allowing you to approve pending requests on the move.
VCNs can capture an unlimited amount of custom data specific to each purchase. All data entered into the app is automatically matched to the transaction data, significantly streamlining your accounts payable processes and producing a comprehensive and 100% accurate overview of your corporate expenditure.
